Indictments against 32 people that had been sealed since March 17 were released Tuesday by the Henry County Circuit Court.
The indictments are part of a year-long investigation in the county between February 2007 and February 2008, Sheriff Lane Perry has said.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt. It is a grand jury’s determination that enough evidence exists to warrant a trial.
The indictments released Tuesday included:
• Kevin Wade Anthony, 31, of 1002 South County Line Road, Patrick Springs, one count possess cocaine, Aug. 17.
• Mechelle Sutphin Arnold, 34, of 137 Wildhurst Ave., Roanoke, one count making a false statement to obtain property or credit, between July 1, 2006 and Jan. 15, 2008.
• Antonio Aros-Garcia, also known as Antonio Garcia, 48, of Bachelor Hall Trailer Park, Danville, two counts possession of a false official identification document Aug. 24.
• Jimmy Aubrey Boaz Jr., 38, 3185 Old Leaksville Road, Ridgeway, one count driving under the influence and one count reckless driving Dec. 5.
• Jared O’Brian Dillard, 32, 816 Olympia St., Martinsville, one count identity theft to avoid prosecution and one count forge a public document, July 19; and a second count forge a public document on May 10, 2002.
• Michael Harrold Dixon, 46, 4603 Philpott Drive, Bassett, one count possess cocaine Oct. 8.
• Rodney Mark Edwards, 39, 155 Karlee St., Martinsville, one count possess cocaine.
• Harden Avery Hankins Jr., 22, Collinsville, one count making a false statement to a firearms dealer and one count attempt to possess a firearm by a convicted juvenile felon Jan. 12.
• Sylvia Ondry Hodges, 63, 460 Chester St., Fieldale, one count obtain or attempt to obtain a controlled substance by false pretenses Jan. 10.
• Melvin Dantony Mitchell, 28, of 107 Archer Road, Ridgeway, one count possess cocaine Nov. 17.
• James Jeffrey Parsons, 37, 134 Devon Way St., Eden, N.C., one count credit card fraud and one count obtaining money or property by false pretense Dec. 10.
• Kay Frances Reynolds, 47, 282 Mountain Laurel Trail, Ridgeway, one count possess cocaine May 14, 2006.
• Shirley Jane Richardson, 40, 236 Harmon Hill Road, Martinsville, one count receive stolen property (grand larceny) Aug. 20, 2005.
• Gerald Richard Via, 40, 781 Vias Orchard Road, Critz, one count possess cocaine Nov. 8.
• Paulette Lachelle Dillard, 27, 428 Stratford Road, Eden, one count possess marijuana with intent to distribute Dec. 21, 2006.
• Corey Lamont Flood, 30, 38 Springview Drive, Ridgeway, one count distribute cocaine July 5.
• Donald Ray Hairston, also known as “Bay Ray,” 26, 49 Kings Mill Court, Ridgeway, four counts distribute cocaine Feb. 21 through March 13, 2007.
• Myrio Shea Hairston, 24, 823 Chestnut Knot Road, Martinsville, one count distribute cocaine Sept. 7.
• Kelly Lovon Johnson, 21, 199 Windy Crest Road, Ridgeway, two counts distribute cocaine, July 9 and July 11.
• Desmal Danta Martin, 30, 107 Antioch Church St., Ridgeway, three counts distribute cocaine, July 11, July 26 and Aug. 8.
• James Douglas Martin, 55, 42 Creekside Drive, Martinsville, one count distribute cocaine Dec. 5; one count possess marijuana Dec. 6; and one count possess cocaine Dec. 6.

• Tracy Maurice Penn, 29, 100 Cabin Hill Drive, Ridgeway, two counts distribute cocaine March 21, 2007, and May 24, 2007.
• Xavier Jamal Quattlebaum, 21, 309 Tomentosa, Columbia, S.C., one count possess marijuana April 1.
• Clarence Adam Shelton, 20, 103 Courtney Lane, Stoneville, N.C., one count distribute cocaine July 18.
• Maurice Antoine Shelton, also known as “Twan,” 21, 217 Springview Court, Ridgeway, four counts distribute cocaine April 4 through May 7.
• John Hereford Spencer, 42, 3761 Horsepasture Price Road, Ridgeway, four counts distribute cocaine, July 26 through Aug. 22.
• Wesley Lane Tuggle, 33, 310 Case School Road, Madison, N.C., one count possess cocaine with intent to distribute March 8, 2007.
• Mickey Lee Vernon, 36, 143 Meeks Road, Ridgeway, one count possess marijuana, one count possess cocaine and one count possess a Schedule III controlled substance July 25.
