Tiffany Ann Hughes of Ridgeway and Jacob Randall Jones of Bassett were married Sept. 27 at Mt. Hermon Church of the Brethren. Pastor Rick Randall, uncle of the bridegroom, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Darrell Edwin Goin of Ridgeway and the late Tammy Jackson Goin, and Barry Dean Hughes of Ridgeway. She is the granddaughter of Samuel Albert Hughes of Spencer and the late Rachel Conner Hughes, and the late Donald Lester and Teresa Chattin Jackson.
The bridegroom is the son of Kenneth Jones of Critz and Michael and Sue Washburn of Bassett. He is the grandson of Taft and Alma Randall of Bassett and Nancy B. Jones of Bassett and the late Cleo E. Jones.
The bride was escorted by the bridegroom. She wore a two-piece silk duchess satin gown with a strapless bodice and sweetheart neckline and a chapel-length train with beaded appliquÃ©s and iridescent florets. She carried a bouquet of burgundy roses, sea grass and berries.
Maid of honor was Emily Diane Belton of Richmond, cousin of the bride. She wore a burgundy strapless Italian satin A-line gown with matching shawl and carried a bouquet of burgundy roses, sea grass and berries.
Flower girl was Abby Compton, niece of the bridegroom and daughter of Clint and Jennifer Compton of Horsepasture.
Best man was Kurt Randall of Bassett, cousin of the bridegroom.
Ushers were Darrin Tyler Goin of Ridgeway, brother of the bride, and Joseph M. Washburn of Ridgeway, step-brother of the bridegroom.
Bell ringer was Thatcher Blankenship, son of Todd and Tammy Blankenship of Ridgeway.
A program of wedding music was provided by cousins of the bridegroom, vocalist Kelly Randall and violinist and vocalist Cara Randall, both of Bassett.
A reception was held in the church social hall.
The couple took a honeymoon in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
They live in Bassett.
The bride is a graduate of National Business College and is employed by Nautica.
The bridegroom is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering technology. He is employed by Hollingsworth and Vase Co. of Floyd.
Prior to the wedding, the couple were honored Aug. 30, with a household shower in the social hall of Mt. Hermon Church of the Brethren, hosted by Pam Randall, Ellen Randall and Carole Hussey.
