Latina Manns and Mark Price II, both of Martinsville, were married Oct. 4 at Greater New Bethel Apostolic Church in Martinsville. Elder Mark E. Price Sr., father of the bridegroom, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Harry and Brenda Manns of Ridgeway. She is the granddaughter of Lula Manns of Henry and the late Harriet and Clarence Lynch.

The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Rose Price of Martinsville. He is the grandson of the late Deloris Hairston and Buford and Roseabelle Price.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a satin ballgown with beaded lace, pearls, button detailing in the back, and a cathedral-length train with cut-out lace appliques. She carried a bouquet of roses, stephanotis, calla lilies, carnations and ivy.

Maid of honor was Christy Manns of Martinsville, sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Deborah Reddick of Martinsville. They wore terra-cotta colored dresses in different styles with matching terra-cotta satin bolero jackets.

Bridesmaids were Montoyia Price of Martinsville, sister of the bridegroom; Tarketti Price of Martinsville, sister of the bridegroom; the late Tamara Young of Bassett, cousin of the bride; Tiffany Lynch of Maryland, cousin of the bride; and Christy Schenck of Appalachia. They carried bouquets of cala lilies, Gerbera daisies, roses and snapdragons.

Flower girl was Takayla Agnew, cousin of the bridegroom.

Best man was Tsaikuwn Aldago Hairston of Martinsville, cousin of the bridegroom.

Groomsmen were Emil Schenck of Appalachia; Odell Lynch Jr., of Martinsville, cousin of the bridegroom; Dion Yellock of Collinsville, cousin of the bridegroom; Marin Preston of Boston, cousin of the bridegroom; Franco Martin of Martinsville, cousin of the bridegroom; Demarquee Hairston of Woodbridge, cousin of the bridegroom.

Ring bearer was Justin Manns, son of the bride.

A program of wedding music was provided by pianist Jeff Hairston of Rocky Mount; vocalists Jeavondra Foster of Greensboro, N.C., and Selina Hairston, Danielle Hairston and Coretta Jones, all of Martinsville.

A reception was held at the Dutch Inn.

The couple took a honeymoon in Appalachia.

They live in Martinsville.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Martinsville High School and a 2003 graduate of National Business College. She is the customer service manager at Kroger.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Laurel Park High School and is employed by Mark E. Price Sr. Contracting.

Prior to the wedding, the couple were honored on the following occasions: Sept. 13, a bridal shower at Kroger, hosted by Shirley Whitehead, Lisa Hopkins and other co-workers of the bride; and Sept. 20, a bridal shower at the home of the bride, hosted by Deborah Reddick and Christy Manns.
