A North Carolina man was among six people indicted Monday in Martinsville on unrelated counts of malicious wounding, according to court records.
Torey Devon Wilson, 20, 613 Cedar St., Eden, N.C., was indicted on one count each malicious wounding, use of a firearm in a felony, shoot at an occupied dwelling, discharge of a firearm in the city and shooting from a vehicle in connection with a July 24 incident.
Also indicted on malicious wounding charges were:
• Carolyn Sue Eanes, 64, 613 Branch St., Martinsville, one count on Jan. 4.
• Janet Michelle Bryant, 46, 1920 Chatham Road, Martinsville, one count on July 4.
• Bryan Christopher Rorrer, 22, 230 Flint Ridge Road, Bassett, one count on Aug. 7.
• Billy Eugene Holland, 45, 7700 Jackson School Road, Browns School, N.C., one count on April 15.
• Kiara Montae Perkins, 20, 2627 Stoney Mountain Road, Martinsville, one count on June 26.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt. It is a grand jury’s determination that enough evidence exists to hold a trial.
Also among the 38 people and 62 indictments issued Monday were:
• Dominique Qumain Hylton, 19, 127 N. Beaver St., Martinsville, one count each statutory burglary and grand larceny June 11.
• Debbie Renee Hairston, 43, 755 Stultz Road, Martinsville, one count each possess cocaine May 14 and grand larceny April 14.
• Anthony Wayne Carter, 40, 215 Holt St., Martinsville, one count possess a firearm by a convicted felon Aug. 18.
• Alvin Pete Bullins Jr., 43, 79 Green Oaks Lane, Bassett, one count indecent liberties with a child Aug. 9.
• Kimberly Dawn Royal, 27, 215 Lackey Road, Collinsville, one count attempt to obtain drugs by fraud May 19.
• Sherman Maurice Roberts Jr., 28, 1304 Carver Court, Martinsville, three counts assault and batter of a police officer May 24.
• Tonya Evette Piggott, 40, 143 Stillbrook Drive, Bassett, one count attempt to obtain drugs by fraud Jan. 29.
• Marissa Harmon Nowlin, 50, 228 Moss St., Martinsville, one count obtain money by false pretenses Oct. 20.
• Rosalind Regina Martin, 32, 3346 Foster Drive, Yanceyville, N.C., one count each forgery April 15 and utter (pass) a forged check April 16.
• Jacchaeus Jamile Heath, 19, 271 Way Cross Drive, Fieldale, one count each grand larceny and statutory burglary May 3.
• Lewis Edward King, 73, 212 Fayette St., Martinsville, one count fail to register as a sex offender July 12.
• Melanie Nicole Hairston, 36, 733 Smith Road, Martinsville, one count shoplifting, third offense, May 21.
• James Henry Curry, 19, 105 Inman St., Martinsville, one count grand larceny July 24.
• Steven Scott Cole Jr., 22, 20 Fayette St., Martinsville, one count each threaten to burn building and assault and batter of police officer May 22.
• Matthew Franklin Coggins, 28, 635 Henry Road, Henry, one count drive under the influence, third or subsequent offense, Aug. 6.
• Corey Anthony Carter, 38, 118 Wood St., Martinsville, one count drive while habitual offender, second or subsequent offense, June 6.
• Jeremy Lynn Turner, 23, 2228 E. Stadium Drive, Eden, N.C., one count each grand larceny and statutory burglary Jan. 1.
• Norman Alexander Schoefield, 42, 900 Second St., Martinsville, one count each statutory burglary and grand larceny May 27.
• Velma Harris Wade, 40, 1446 W. Fayette St., Martinsville, one count felony hit and run July 3.
• Toshia Michelle Vaughn, 22, 1117 Askin St., Martinsville, one count forgery of public document Sept. 10.
• Carlos Demontae Spencer, 19, 709 Fourth St., Martinsville, one count each possess cocaine, possess firearm while in possession of cocaine and felony elude police May 19.
• Corey Lamar Rucker, 29, 139 D&W Lane, Patrick Springs, one count shoplifting, third offense, June 1.
• Steven Jackson Morrison, 46, 413 Fayette St., Martinsville, one count possess cocaine Feb. 21.
• Robin Orlando Menefee, 40, 218 Park St., Martinsville, one count each robbery and attempted felony escape Aug. 12.
• Christopher Wendell Martin, 19, 910 Liberty St., Martinsville, one count each grand larceny and statutory burglary Aug. 5.
• Jodie Marie Marshall, 22, 430 Apple Tree Circle, Martinsville, one count shoplifting, third offense, May 14.
• Dominique Latae Mahan, 21, 121 Park St., Martinsville, one count statutory burglary May 29.
• Constance Vaughn McVicker, 46, 103 Big Jane St., Martinsville, one count assault and batter a police officer July 24.
• Carol Brammer Rakes, 60, 1200 S. Memorial Blvd., Martinsville, one count embezzlement between Dec. 24, 2005, and Dec. 31, 2007.
• Barbara Lynn Meyers, 51, 1055 Graves St., Martinsville, four counts forgery of prescription; three counts obtaining drugs by deceit; and one count attempt to obtain drugs by deceit Jan. 26 through July 8.
• Vergie Ann Martin Hodge Jackson, 52, 40 Eagle Lane, Martinsville, one count perjury Oct. 14.
• Jonathan Lanier Hodge, 21, 3080 Horsepasture Price Road, Ridgeway, one count perjury Oct. 14. |
