EDEN, N.C. — Authorities say a 37-year-old Martinsville, Va., man is dead and two other people injured in a shooting outside a North Carolina nightclub.
Authorities say 37-year-old Timothy Seay, of Martinsville, Va., died on the scene and two other men were taken to the hospital, The Associated Press reported.
One of them, Terris Tewayne Dandridge, also lives in Martinsville and the other lives in Richmond.
The Eden police were checking out a suspicious car around 2:30 a.m. Saturday when they heard gunshots coming from the street, the AP reported.
The officers say they saw several people running from Eden’s Icehouse Club and Lounge, and then they found three people who had been shot.
Police have made no arrests in the shootings, according to the AP.
