Heavy rains prompted the Virginia Department of Transportation to close
some roads in Henry County.
As of 9:22 a.m. Thursday, the following were closed due to flooding:
• Virginia 683 north and south, from Preston Road and Virginia 687
east and west.
• Virginia 684 north and south, to Chestnut Street, Dillons Fork Road,
Patrick Avenue, Virginia 609 north and south and Virginia 747 north and
south.
• Virginia 684 south to Chestnut Street, Dillons Fork Road, Patrick
Avenue, Virginia 609 north and south and Virginia 747 north and south. |
