By DEBBIE HALL - Bulletin Staff Writer

Police are searching for two people in connection with an alleged robbery, and three are in custody in the case, according to a news release from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and sheriff’s Sgt. Curtis Spence.

The sheriff's office has issued warrants for Samantha Gayle Smith, 20, and Tracy Isaiah Wall, 22, on charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, Spence said.

Both live in Henry County, according to Spence.

The charges stem from an alleged robbery at 4:49 a.m. Monday, according to police. They allege that at that time, three white males entered the home of Melvin Euceda-Lopez at 1568 Stultz Road, Martinsville.

Euceda-Lopez and Jose Louis Zaldivar both were assaulted after being bound, the release stated.

Two females inside the home at the time of the incident were not assaulted, Spence said. Police alleged that the two females were involved in the robbery, according to Spence and the release.

An undisclosed amount of cash, a 40-inch LCD TV, a firearm and other items were taken from the home, according to the release.

Three people are being held in the Henry County Jail on charges in connection with the incident.

Police caution that anyone aiding and abetting any fugitive can be arrested for breaking the law, according to Spence and the release.

To contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, call 638-8751 or Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632-7463).

The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information related to crimes. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information provided determine the amount paid.
