Fifteen of 17 people indicted on drug charges in Henry County last week were arrested Friday, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
A total of 37 felony criminal charges were issued on the 17 adults in connection with a joint drug operation conducted between September 2007 and June 2009, according to a sheriff’s office release issued Saturday.
During the operation, undercover drug purchases, search warrants and vehicle stops occurred in Ridgeway, Axton, Collinsville, Bassett and Horsepasture.
Authorities bought or seized quantities of crack cocaine ranging from .6 of a gram to 3.5 grams with values ranging from $60 to $225, the release states.
Methadone, Oxycodone, Xanax and Hydrocodone were purchased with values ranging from $5 to $20 per pill, according to the release.
