BREAKING NEWS: Warrant issued in Spruce Village fire

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Spruce Village resident on an arson charge in connection with the June 14 fire at the apartment complex, according to a Martinsville news release.
The warrant was issued for Cheryl Lemons, 60, of 1201 Spruce St., Martinsville, on Wednesday, according to the release and city Fire Marshal Ted Anderson.
The fire occurred around 11:20 a.m. June 14 in an apartment in the A wing of the structure, according to the release.
Lemons had been identified as a person of interest in the case Friday by Anderson.
