SUNDAY’S WORD was goober. (gu-ber). It means peanut. The children had a tin bucket full of goobers, which they were shelling and eating. (Source: Merriam-Webster)
MONDAY’S WORD is grandiose (grand-dee-OSS). Jason often tried to impress people with his complicated, grandiose plans for success, but he never seemed to make much progress towards putting them into action.

The following is from a website of jokes/humor:
Thanks to a fertility treatment, a woman was able to have a baby at 70. When she was discharged from hospital, her relatives came to visit.
“Can we see the baby?” they asked. “Not yet,” said the mother. Fifteen minutes later, they asked again. “Not yet,” said the mother. Another 15 minutes passed. They asked again and got the same reply.
The relatives were growing impatient. “Well, when can we see the baby?”
“When it cries,” the mother said.
“Why,” the relatives asked. “Because,” she said, “I forgot where I put it.”
