UPDATE: Villa Heights couple had been shot

A preliminary autopsy update shows the two people found in a home in the Villa Heights community were shot to death,
Henry County Sheriff’s Lt. Eric Winn said the update stated that Kathy Bailey Fain, 49, died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
Charles Darryl Fain, 52, died from multiple gunshot wounds, Winn said.
Their bodies were found in their home at 25 Beaver Road, Martinsville, on Wednesday after police were summoned there by a concerned family member.
Kathy Fain’s son, Zachary Kasey Bailey, 19, of 25 Beaver Road, Martinsville, was charged with two counts of second degree murder, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and two counts of discharging a firearm within an occupied dwelling in connection with the incident.
He is being held without bond.
