Brittany Nicole Hall and Christopher Lee Hylton, both of Martinsville, were married on May 5 at the Spencer-Penn Centre in Spencer. Cousin of the bridegroom Minister Michael Plasters performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Charlotte Hall and David Hall of Martinsville. She is the granddaughter of Betty Nash and Sidney Nash of Martinsville; Charles Hall and Sybil Hall of Eden, N.C.; and the late Charles Moore.
The bridegroom is the son of Ronnie and Brenda Hylton of Hickory, N.C. He is the grandson of Irvin and Minnie Hylton of Ridgeway and the late Bill and Carleen Gilley.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless satin gown with a chapel-length train, and she carried a bouquet of pink, green and yellow roses and daisies.
Kristin Moorefield of Martinsville was the maid of honor. She wore a pink chiffon dress and carried a yellow rose.
Bridesmaids were Kayla Moorefield of Martinsville and Britney Bowman of Bassett. They wore yellow chiffon dresses, and each carried a pink rose.
Flower girls were nieces of the bridegroom Heidi and Kaidence Hylton, daughters of Bryan and Amanda Hylton of Sacramento, Calif.
Best man was Joseph Woods of Martinsville.
Groomsmen were brother of the bridegroom Bryan Hylton and brother of the bride Brandon Hall of Martinsville.
Ring bearer was Logan Woods, son of Joseph Woods.
A reception was held at the center.
The couple took a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach.
They live in Martinsville.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Magna Vista High School. She is the deli manager at Food Lion.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Patrick County High School. He is employed by Food Lion.
Prior to the wedding, the couple were honored on the following occasions: April 20, a lingerie shower at Texas Steakhouse in Martinsville, hosted by Leah Bryant; April 21, a bridal shower in Spencer, hosted by Mary Kiser in her house; and April 28, a lingerie shower in Martinsville, hosted by Kristin Moorefield.
