A Bassett High School teacher has been charged with six counts of taking indecent liberties with a child in connection with an alleged sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student, according to a release from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
Luke Sebastan Flora, 30, of 7 Ebb Drive, Bassett, was charged with taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial or supervisory relationship, the release stated. All charges are felonies, it added.
Flora is being held in the Henry County jail without bond.
The alleged incidents did not occur on school property, the release stated.
