BREAKING NEWS: Woman dies in accident

A Stanleytown woman died in a single-vehicle accident early Thursday in Henry County, according to the Virginia State Police.
Melissa Cassell, 45, of Stanleytown, was pronounced dead at the scene after the 1998 Chevrolet 1500 truck she was operating ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree, Virginia State Police Sgt. Robert Carpentieri reported.
