Nicole Alexandra Adams of Jackson, N.J., and William Benjamin “Ben” McDorman of Brandon, Fla., were married on July 22 at The Mill in Spring Lake, N.J. The Rev. William Beute performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Jeanette Adams of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of John and Eleanor Langeveld of Jackson and Murl and Carol Adams of Fredericksburg.

The bridegroom is the son of W. Larry and Vivian McDorman of Martinsville. He is the grandson of Jean Green of Hillsboro Beach, Fla., and the late Norman Green, and the late Anna L. McDorman and William Walter McDorman.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless, empire waist, silk organza gown with a hand-twilled lace bodice. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies and hydrangeas.

Maid of honor was sister of the bride Lauren Adams of Jackson. She wore a navy chiffon silk cocktail-length dress and carried a bouquet of hydrangeas and gerbera daisies.

Bridesmaids were sister of the groom Minda McDorman of San Diego; Lindsay Mulchahy of Washington D.C.; Lauren Schavio-Quinn of Holmdel, N.J.; and Jen Lindsay-Allen of Eatontown, N.J. Their gowns and bouquets matched those of the maid of honor.

The junior bridesmaid was cousin of the bride Amber Tsimbidis, daughter of Deb Tsimbidis of Lorton and the late Nick Tsimbidis. The flower girl was Addison Lindsay-Allen, daughter of Jen and Adrian Allen of Eatontown.

Best man was Dr. Jonathan Towarnicki of Louisville, Ky.

Groomsmen were Dr. James Scott Baker of Greensboro, N.C.; Jeffrey Dean “JD” Talley of Maui, Hawaii; Ben Pettry of Brandon; and Mikel Lord of Philadelphia.

A reception was held at The Mill at Spring Lake.

The couple plans for a December honeymoon to Hawaii.

They live in Midlothian.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in 2007 and a master’s degree in 2011, both in special education from Drexel University. She was employed by The Lighthouse Center for Creative Learning in Brandon.

The bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of Drexel University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He is a senior pouring manager with The Carpenter Company in Richmond.

Prior to the wedding, the couple were honored with a bridal shower on March 17 at Spring Lake Manor, hosted by Lauren and Jeanette Adams; a rehearsal dinner on July 21 at Breakers on the Beach in Spring Lake, hosted by the bridegroom’s parents; and a July 21 rehearsal party at Doubletree Hotel in Tinton Falls, N.J., hosted by Minda McDorman, Lance Grucela and Meghan and Dan Burke.
