Americans are at risk
Wednesday, October 10, 2012
One of the government’s newest and most important objectives should be abolishing Obamacare (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act). I believe it is a direct infringement on Americans’ personal lives and a potent misuse of federal funds.
In the upcoming elections, I will vote for the candidates who support the repeal of Obamacare and fight for a smaller government. George Allen strongly opposes government-run health care and promises to fight to repeal and replace it with portable, affordable health insurance, including options for personalized health savings accounts. Tim Kaine, however, believes that Obamacare is a “great achievement” and stands as one of the president’s strongest defenders of the health care law. He says that it would “control costs and lower costs for middle-class families who are struggling.” He also supports massive tax increases to fuel this harmful spending.
I believe that George Allen could be our voice to stop the overspending in Washington and the overreaching bureaucracies. Americans’ freedoms and opportunities are at risk as a result of the over-spending, over-regulation, big government policies of President (Barack) Obama and Kaine. I think that we should send the message to President Obama, Kaine and the Washington liberals that we are against an overreaching government by giving Allen a big win on Nov. 6.
