Governor Bob McDonnell has issued an order that all executive branch state agencies across the state will be closed today due to Hurricane Sandy.
Local offices that will be closed today include the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Health Department and Patrick Henry Community College. Other government offices also may be closed.
The flu vaccine clinic that was scheduled for today at PHCC has been cancelled.
McDonnell issued a state of emergency for the state on Friday, ahead of Hurricane Sandy’s projected landfall in the Northeast.
