Kristian Cline and Adam Cobb, both of Axton, were married on Oct. 13 at the home of David and Linda Viers in Bassett. Great-uncle of the bride Ronald Coleman performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Hassie Cline of Axton and the late David Hankins. She is the granddaughter of George Cline of Bassett and the late Florence Hankins.
The bridegroom is the son of David and Shirley Terrell of Cascade. He is the grandson of the late Arnald and Penny Moore and Lester and Pearl Terrell.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Hubert Cline of Bassett. She wore a pink dress with a camouflage sash, a train and a veil. She carried a bouquet of green Easter lilies and camouflage pink Easter lilies.
Maid of honor was cousin of the bride Crystal Hankins of Axton. She wore a pink camouflage dress. Matron of honor was aunt of the bride Donna Hankins of Axton. She wore a green camouflage dress. Each carried a bouquet of pink and green camouflage Easter lilies.
Bridesmaids were aunts of the bride Gloria Barker and Buffy Hankins and cousin of the bride Jennifer Hankins, all of Axton. They wore pink camouflage shirts and blue jeans and carried bouquets of pink and green camouflage Easter lilies.
Junior bridesmaids were cousins of the bride Kaitlyn and Morgan Barker, daughters of Gloria and Ricky Barker of Axton.
Flower girls were cousin of the bride Savannah Hankins, daughter of Harden and Jennifer Hankins of Axton, and niece of the bridegroom Alyssa Cobb, daughter of Bernie and Samantha Cobb of Cascade.
Best man was brother of the bridegroom Bernie Cobb.
Groomsmen were uncles of the bride Harden Hankins Sr. and David Hankins Jr. and cousins of the bride Harden Hankin Jr. and David Hankins III, all of Axton.
Ushers were brothers of the bride Brandon Dishmon of Axton and Hubert Cline of Bassett.
Ring bearer was Darrin Cobb, nephew of the bridegroom and son of Bernie and Samantha Cobb of Cascade.
A reception was held at the Viers’ home.
The couple took a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, S.C.
They live in Axton.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Laurel Park High School and a 2012 graduate of National Business College. She is employed by Country Cooking.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Tunstall High School and a 2006 graduate of Danville Community College. He is employed by Nationwide Homes of Martinsville.
Prior to the wedding, the bride’s mother and aunt Donna Hankins hosted a variety of events at the bride’s house. The were: Aug. 18, bachelorette party; Aug. 25, a bridal shower; Sept. 15, an honor party; and Oct. 6, a wedding favor party.
