Mallory Craig and Joseph Hamilton Knight, both of Martinsville, were married on Sept. 22 at the barn at Shady Oaks Farm in Martinsville. Todd Barnes performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Nancy Craig of Martinsville. She is the granddaughter of the late Claude and Mary Lee Southard and Russell and Estelle Craig.
The bridegroom is the son of Dewey and Susan Knight of Collinsville. He is the grandson of Steve and Betty Knight of Chowan and Hazel Zeigler of Martinsville and the late Doc Zeigler.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless A-line gown with a fitted bodice and chiffon skirt with beaded detail and lace and a chapel-length train and an elbow-length veil and cowboy boots. She carried a bouquet of fall-colored flowers wrapped in burlap and a camouflage ribbon.
Maid of honor was sister of the bride Meredith Craig of Axton. She wore an orange dress with ruching and a camouflage sash and cowboy boots. She carried a bottle with flowers wrapped in burlap and camouflage ribbon.
Bridesmaids were sister of the bridegroom Erin Knight of Collinsville, Morgan Branscome of Collinsville, Keri Sawyers of Fries and Rebecca Byrd of Alexandria. Their dresses and bouquets were coordinated with those of the maid of honor.
Flower girl was Maxie Garrett, daughter of Phil and Karen Garrett of Martinsville.
Best man was the father of the bridegroom.
Groomsmen were brother of the bridegroom Chris Knight of Collinsville, Troy Lee Rakes and John Lackey of Martinsville and Eddie Woods of Marion.
Ring bearer was Webb Garrett, son of Phil and Karen Garrett.
Allan White of Henry sang.
A reception was held at the barn.
The couple took a honeymoon to Tennessee.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Martinsville High School and Patrick Henry Community College with an associate degree in general studies. She is a 2011 graduate of Radford University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed by the Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital Emergency Department.
The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Bassett High School and a 2010 graduate of University of Virginia College at Wise with a bachelor’s degree in administrative justice. He is employed by the state.
Prior to the wedding, the couple was honored on the following occasions: July, an engagement party at Smith Mountain Lake, hosted by Phil and Karen Garrett; August, bridal showers at Hill Memorial Baptist Church and Smith Memorial United Methodist Church, hosted by friends, and a lingerie shower in Collinsville hosted by Melinda White, Erin Knight and Morgan Branscome; Sept. 11, a bridal shower at the Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital hosted by the bride’s coworkers; and Sept. 21, a bridal luncheon at the Virginia Home in Fieldale, hosted by Janet Handy and Joyce Odell, and a rehearsal dinner at the Fireman’s Cabin in Martinsville, hosted by Dewey and Susan Knight.
