Lauren Setliff of Roanoke and Matt Wimbish of Fieldale were married on Oct. 20 at Stone Memorial Christian Church in Collinsville. Tim Wood performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Benny and Pam Setliff of Collinsville. She is the granddaughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Miles and Noel and Ruby Setliff.

The bridegroom is the son of Tim Wimbish of Martinsville and Sandra Wimbish of Fieldale. He is the grandson of Dr. Charles Wimbish and Rebecca Wimbish, both of Martinsville, and Dorothy Arnold of Martinsville and the late E.D. Arnold Jr.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and a sweep train and cathedral-length veil. She carried a bouquet of purple and white flowers and a Bible.

Maid of honor was Christie Rogers of Collinsville, and matron of honor was sister of the bride Jessica Clark of Roanoke. They wore purple chiffon one-shoulder gowns and carried bouquets of mini ivory roses.

Bridesmaids were Mallory Martin of Ridgeway, Giaynna Smith of Covington and Amanda Spore of Roanoke. Their gowns and bouquets matched those of the maid and matron of honor.

Junior bridesmaid was Savannah Wimbish, niece of the bridegroom and daughter of John Wimbish of Fieldale and Jerri Wimbish of Bassett.

Niece of the bridegroom Kayleigh Wimbish, daughter of John Wimbish and Jerri Wimbish, was the flower girl.

Brother of the bridegroom Dustin Wimbish of Fieldale was the best man.

Groomsmen were Josh Ashburn of Culpeper, Ryan Byrd of Roanoke, Deven Covington of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Bobby Eggleston.

Nephew of the bride Nathan Clark of Roanoke was the junior groomsman.

Liam and Colin Clark, nephews of the bride and sons of Joe and Jessica Clark, were the ring bearers.

Mary Ann Peak of Collinsville played piano.

A reception was held at the church.

The couple took a honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Bassett High School and a 2010 graduate of Radford University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is pursuing a master’s degree in special education. She is the unit director for the Christiansburg Middle School Boys and Girls Club.

The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Bassett High School and a 2009 graduate of Radford University with a degree in marketing. He is employed by BioMet in Roanoke.

Prior to the wedding, the couple were honored on the following occasions: in September, a bridal shower in Collinsville, hosted by Jessica Clark and Christie Rogers, and a wedding shower in Martinsville, hosted by Teresa Martin, Chelsea Krontz, Margaret Wimmer and Jerri Wimbish; and in October, a spa day in Roanoke, hosted by Jessica Clark and Christie Rogers, and a rehearsal dinner in Collinsville, hosted by Sandra Wimbish.
