Congratulations to the liberals and their “decisive” victory over conservatives. We all now need to get on the bandwagon and try to get our fair share from the government before it is gone. Unless there are some jobs created soon, the money may not last very long, and then what? Who pays the tax bills? Where is our entitlement money?
It is obvious that the majority of the people in this country want bigger government with more spending and borrowing, which means “kicking the can on down the road” for future generations to fix. The only question is just what kind of country is going to be left behind as we follow the model already set up by Greece. In case there is some interest as to what Greece has done, well, they have borrowed and spent their way to bankruptcy and now for the past few months there has been rioting in the streets.
Not to worry, though, as we are just $16 trillion in debt with another fiscal (debt) cliff in our path and we’ll be there in January 2013. Don’t be disheartened as we will raise the debt ceiling again and as President (Barack) Obama terrifies the older folks by warning he can’t guarantee their Social Security checks or the veterans pensions. This is an unfounded, purely scare tactic which will result in the Republicans caving again and then going outside and borrowing some more money.
Now, getting back to your fair share, we need to add more people on all our entitlement programs so that if the Obama administration should ever submit a budget acceptable to both Houses of Congress we will know how much more to drain from the working class people (the last one was defeated 477-0).
In conclusion and in contrast to President Obama’s preacher of 20 years, Jeremiah Wright, who said, “GD America,” I can only say, “God Bless America.”
