BREAKING NEWS: City manager search unsuccessful

Efforts to hire a new city manager have been unsuccessful, according to a statement issued by Martinsville City Council on Wednesday.
As a result, the search for a manager will resume “after the first of the year,” the statement says. It gave no further details about the recent search.
The statement thanks Interim City Manager Leon Towarnicki for his continued service.
