• The Virginia Coalition for Open Government, which gets an “A” for grading the state’s localities on how well their current budget information is presented on their websites. Like any assessment, this is a useful tool to help localities see what they are doing right and what they should improve. The goal for localities should be transparency with the public’s money, so we were pleased to see local governments — including Henry County’s — make improvements to correct concerns.
