Kristy Denise Biggs of Collinsville and Billy Lane Howell of Fieldale were married on Jan. 5 at the overlook at Philpott Dam. Minister Laverne Bowman performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Roger and Robin Vaughn of Martinsville and Barry and Judy Biggs of Ridgeway. She is the granddaughter of Robert A. Biggs, Marge Hundley, Carol E. Akers and William Akers, all of Martinsville, and the late James C. Hundley and Ruby M. Biggs. Her children are Benjamin Turner of Collinsville and Blake Ferguson of the home.
The bridegroom is the son of Donald and Peggy Howell of Fieldale. He is the grandson of Iris Nunley of Fieldale and the late Walter Nunley and John and Myrtle Howell. His daughter is Ashley Lovell of Martinsville.
The bride wore a satin gown with a lace back and beading. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and baby’s breath.
The couple live in Collinsville.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School. She is employed by Carter Bank and Trust.
The bridegroom attended Fieldale-Collinsville High School and is self-employed.
