Anjanette L. Dixon of Baltimore and Richard Pierre of Brooklyn, N.Y., were married on Dec. 1 at Moral Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Axton. Dr. Thurman O. Echols Jr. performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Narda S. Dixon of Martinsville and the late Talmadge R. Dixon Jr. She is the granddaughter of Mary S. Stukes of Columbia, S.C., and the late Harry B. Stukes, and the late Nora H. and Talmadge R. Dixon Sr.
The bridegroom is the son of Olive N. Campbell of Brooklyn and the late Sonny S. Pierre. He is the grandson of the late Amina Davis and Rita Campbell.
The bride was escorted by her brother Duane C. Dixon of Martinsville.
She was attended by two matrons of honor and four hostesses.
The bridegroom was attended by one best man, one groomsman and four ushers.
A reception was held at Chatmoss Country Club.
The couple took a honeymoon in the Caribbean.
They live in New York.
The bride is a 1992 and a 1995 graduate of Morgan State University and a 1998 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law. She is a Baltimore County Public Schools associate general counsel.
The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Brooklyn College. He is employed in security.
