Lauren Kristen Warrick of Collinsville and Amon Jacob Peters of Ridgeway were married on July 21 at First Baptist Church of Collinsville. The Rev. Larry Cheek and grandfather of the bride the Rev. James Robert Cole Sr. performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of David and Phyllis Warrick of Collinsville. She is the granddaughter of the Rev. James and Barbara Cole of Lynchburg and James and Catherine Warrick of Fieldale.

The bridegroom is the son of Leslie and Laura Peters of Ridgeway. He is the grandson of Vernon and Maybelle Peters of Ridgeway and JoAnn Neeley of Ridgeway and the late William Larry Blankenship.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a taffeta, strapless, empire-waist gown. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers.

Maid of honor was sister of the bride Ashley Nicole Warrick of Collinsville. She wore a blue taffeta tea-length gown and carried a bouquet of sunflowers.

Bridesmaids were sister of the bride Emily Warrick of Collinsville, cousin of the bridegroom Ciara Blankenship of Horsepasture and Katelyn Peters of Ridgeway. Their dresses and bouquets matched those of the maid of honor.

Flower girl was Caroline Pinnix, daughter of Billy and Carrie Pinnix of Collinsville.

Best man was father of the bridegroom.

Groomsmen were brother of the bridegroom Mark Peters of Ridgeway, cousin of the bridegroom Tyler Blankenship of Horsepasture and cousin of the bridegroom Ben Peters of Ridgeway.

Ring bearer was Austin Rorrer, son of Mathew and Sherry Rorrer of Patrick County.

A program of wedding music was provided by Gary Michael Turner of Charleston, S.C., who sang and played piano.

A reception was held at First Baptist Church of Collinsville.

The couple took a honeymoon to Las Vegas.

They live in Ridgeway.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Patrick Henry Community College and has been accepted as a student at Averett University through New College Institute. She is a teller at Martinsville DuPont Credit Union.

The bridegroom is the owner of J & J Lawn Care.

Prior to the wedding, the couple was honored with bridal showers at the Peters household hosted by Laura Peters and at First Baptist Church of Collinsville and a lingerie shower at the Peters household hosted by Katelyn Peters.
