Kamie Stallings and Thomas Aquino, both of Martinsville, were married on June 16 at Castle McCulloch in Jamestown, N.C. Patty Kendrick performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dwayne Stallings of Gibsonville, N.C., and Kelly Haley of Rolesville, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Leola and Willard Haley of Rolesville and Joyce Cooper of Danville.
The bridegroom is the son of Bonita and Michael Vernon of Martinsville. He is the grandson of Thomas Holliman of Ridgeway and the late Sarah Holliman.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a satin and tulle asymmetrical gown with pickups, a pleated surplice bodice and beaded metallic embroidered lace and a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of purple summer flowers.
Matron of honor was Lisa Nunn of Martinsville. She wore a dark purple sleeveless V-neck dress with a charmeuse waistband and carried a bouquet of miniature purple flowers.
Bridesmaids were sisters of the bride Kayla Stallings of Martinsville and Katie Stallings of Gibsonville, N.C., and Alyssa Brust of Greensboro, N.C. Their dresses and bouquets matched those of the matron of honor.
Flower girl was niece of the bridegroom Caroline Boa, daughter of Jaye Vernon of Martinsville.
Best man was Brandon Smith of Roanoke.
Groomsmen were Dave Edwards of Ridgeway, Allen Saunders of Martinsville and William Chappell of Collinsville.
Ring bearer was brother of the bride Layne Stallings, son of Dwayne Stallings and Adrienne Tate.
A program of wedding music was provided by guitarist Ryan Nunn of Martinsville.
A reception was held at the castle.
The couple took a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
They live in Martinsville.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Magna Vista High School and a 2010 graduate of Patrick Henry Community College with an associate degree in arts. She is employed by the Boys and Girls Club of the Blue Ridge.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Martinsville High School and is employed in sales.
Prior to the wedding, the couple were honored with two showers: April 20, a bridal shower at Christ Church in Martinsville, hosted by Lisa Nunn, and May 11, a wedding shower at the home of aunt of the bride Susan Anders in Rolesville, hosted by her.
