A North Carolina man became the fourth person to die in connection with incidents on Henry County highways in three days.

Davon Willis Dixon, 28, of Raleigh, N.C., was pronounced dead at the scene of a one-vehicle crash shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday on Route 658, according to a news release from the Virginia State Police.

The preliminary state police investigation showed that a 2004 Cadillac 4 door CTS was traveling westbound on Route 658 (Foxfire Road) when the vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, became airborne and struck a tree, the release stated.
