This week’s warmer temperatures are melting last week’s 14-inch snowfall in Henry County-Martinsville, probably to the delight of the deer, who now can forage on the bare ground. Above, two deer were spotted doing just that on Tuesday at the Beaver Creek Reservoir. But enough snow remains to challenge walkers, such as those who made their way on the Dick & Willie Passage (right). That scene also was photographed Tuesday near the Doyle Street trailhead.
