In a Monday episode of “Antiques Roadshow,” Brosville resident Amie Pickeral learned that small investments can pay off in a big way.

Pickeral, 20, who was featured in an article published in Monday’s Martinsville Bulletin, purchased a copy of “The Lawes Resolutions of Womens Rights or The Lawes Resolution for Women” at an after-estate sale for $2.

The book turned out to have an auction estimate of $6,000 to $8,000, the show’s book appraiser, Martin Gammon, told Pickeral during Monday’s episode.
