Erma Clark Brogan, 88, of 336 Philpott Dam Road, Bassett, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Blue Ridge Nursing Home in Stuart.
She was born May 4, 1924, in Floyd to Howard Clark and Margaret Elizabeth Underwood Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna C. Bower and Irene H. Midkiff; and three brothers, Edgar Clark, Clifford Clark and Silas Huff.
She retired after more than 30 years as an inspector with Bassett-Walker Knitting. She was a member of Bassett Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Margie B. Harold and Iris B. Whitlow, both of Bassett, and Bonnie B. Belcher of Concord, N.C.; one sister, Fran Kraemer of Lilburn, Ga.; three brothers, Robert Huff of Collinsville, David Huff of Floyd, and Glen Huff of Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor David Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Henry Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the home.
