Christmas lights adorn two boats at Lake Lanier in Martinsville this season, thanks to the efforts of Richard Pulliam of Martinsville, a member of the Lake Lanier Association board. Tommy Harris of the association owns the boats, and Pulliam put up the lights, Harris said. However, they are solar lights and there has not been enough sunlight to power them well, he said. So plans are to replace them with electric lights on the boats that would be tied on each corner of the boat house. If that works, another boat may be added next year.
