William David “Bill” Prillaman, 83, of Martinsville died Wednesday March 13, 2013 at Specialty Select Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
He was born in Franklin Co. on January 13, 1930 to the late George Cable Prillaman and Cloria Adkins Prillaman. He was retired after forty years of service with DuPont where he was the Control Room Operator. He was a member of Chatham Heights Christian Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Prillaman, son-in-law, Danny Willard, two sisters, Christine Cannaday and Mary Liggan and one brother,Leonard H. Prillaman.
Surviving are his wife of sixty two years, Evelyn T. Prillaman of the home, three daughters, Faye P. Elgin and husband Jimmy of Harrison, TN, Wanda Willard of Martinsville and Lisa P. Corns and husband Tim of Patrick County, one son, Larry Prillaman and wife Kathy of Figsboro, sister-in-law, Sharon Prillaman of Eden, NC, six grandchildren, Kim Deal and husband Robby, Alex Elgin and wife Stephanie, Brad Prillaman, Michelle Errichetti and husband Scott, Elizabeth Prillaman and Michael Corns, four great grandchildren, Blake Deal, Laine and Brent Errichetti and Sophie Elgin.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Stone Memorial Christian Church with Rev. Tim Wood and Rev. Lawrence Harris officiating, interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services at the church beginning at 12:00 noon and other times at the home.
