Chatham- James “Kenny” Kenneth Foster 63, of 4000 Games Reservoir Rd passed away on March 17, 2013 at Danville Regional Medical Center. Kenny was born on September 1, 1949 to the late Charles and Lena Foster.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 6 – 8 in the evening at Bassett Funeral Service and a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 in the morning in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Joe Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in the Foster’s Family Cemetery. Kenny was of the Christian faith, was a contractor by trade ,and loved his family and friends dearly. Along with his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his two brothers, Buddy Foster and Nelson Leon Foster.
Kenny is survived by his two daughters, Sherb King and Teddy Nelson, Jr. of Collinsville, VA and Marie Lynn Blair of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Nicholas White, Autumn King, Jacob King, Candace Nelson, Ronald Eugene Hutton, Jr., Joey Dwayne Thomas, Laura Faye Thomas and Teresa Nichole “Nikki” Thomas; one great-grandchild, Lucas Cole Hutton; two uncles, Bill Foster and J.P. Foster; two aunts, Betty Huff and Judy Hilton and a large extended family and friends.
