Barbara Coulson Lawrence, 70, of Collinsville, VA, formerly of New Jersey, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville/Henry County. Born on February 17, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Zena Toler Barlow and William R. Barlow.
Mrs. Lawrence was a member of Community Baptist Church, Bassett, VA. She retired from Sara Lee after ten years of service. She served as a nurse with Home Health Care of Martinsville for 15 years.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Lawrence of the residence; daughter, Chrissi Webber Armentrout and husband, Jordan of Collinsville; son, Mike Coulson and wife Chris of Fieldale; sister, Norma Ashby and husband Dennis of Martinsville; brothers, Buster Barlow of Collinsville, Frankie Barlow of New Jersey, Ivan Barlow and wife, Mary Ruth of Martinsville and Wylie Barlow and wife, Marie of Martinsville; grandchildren, Mackenzie Coulson, Parker Coulson, Riley Coulson, Sidney Coulson, Kennedy Webber, Jack Coulson and Connor Webber.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Lawrence Adkins Family Cemetery in Pittsylvania County with Pastor Carson Williams officiating.
