Paul Joseph Wilson, 37, passed away on December 7, 2012 at his home in Newport News, Virginia. He was born on Jan. 21, 1975 in Martinsville, Virginia.
Paul is survived by his mother and father, Joan and Tony; brother and sister-in-law, Derrick and Wendy; nephew, Devin; grandmother, Myrna Underwood Wilson; aunt, Susan Wilson; uncles, Gary, Leon, Mark, and Jerry Wilson and Tony Dickerson; and numerous cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents Lewis and Lena Dickerson and Roy Wilson.
In spite of his stature, an intimidating 6’ 6”, and being given the nickname “Ogre” in high school, Paul was the epitome of the “Gentle Giant,” who could make anyone laugh and smile. A memorial service will be held at New Beginnings Worship Center in Axton, Virginia on January 19th at 1:00 pm.
