Thomas “Tom” Harry Clark, 61, of 810 Rhododendron Rd., Hillsville, VA died Thursday, February 07, 2013 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC. He was born on April 10, 1951 in Woolwine, VA to the late William Brian Clark and Hollis Dehart Clark.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Paul Pulliam; his mother-in-law, Edna Pulliam; brothers, Roger Clark and Bill Clark and sister, Ayless Turner.
Mr. Clark was a member of the Woolwine United Methodist Church, Woolwine, VA and served in the U. S. Army. He retired from VDOT and then went to work for MBP, an Engineering Consulting Firm, as a Senior Inspector.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Catherine “Cathy” Pulliam Clark of the home; son, Christopher Paul Clark of Charlotte, NC; sister, Ann Spencer of Woolwine, VA; brothers, Mike Clark of Woolwine, VA and Ray Clark of Stuart, VA.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Woolwine United Methodist Church with Minister Sandra Wright officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the church. Burial will be held at 3:30 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, Ridgeway, VA.
