Myrtle Beach, SC – Clara Emogene Gauldin age 68, died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Born in Panther, WV, she was a daughter of the late Paris and Georgia Blankenship. Clara was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Katzer and brothers and sisters, Bessie Knight, Marvin Blankenship, Eileen Roberts and Donald Blankenship.
Survivors include her spouse, Grady Sowers; children, Curtis (Becky) Robertson, Connie (Barry) Gibbs, Dale (Debbie) Robertson, Karna Gaylor, James “Bogie” Sowers and Tommy (Yolanda) Sowers; grand-children, Amanda (Adam) Smith, Brittany Robertson, Melody Webb, Tabitha Robertson, Samantha (Jason) Bryant, Matthew Tucker, Tommy Katzer, Taylor Katzer and Chandler, Cameron and Carson Sowers; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Okie Hawks and Eloise (Donald) Thompson and a brother, Norman (Elaine) Blankenship and numerous nieces , nephews, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at later date in VA.
