Elizabeth Sheetz Jenkins, 74, of Jasper, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. She was an honor graduate of Mary Baldwin College (VA) and a teacher in Richmond, VA, and Atlanta, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Van Sheetz and Elizabeth Turner Sheetz, as well as a sister, Beverly Sheetz.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Jenkins; sons, Jay, Turner and John Paul Jenkins; daughters-in-law, Jacquie, Heather, and Loretta; and grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, Carson and Truman Jenkins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 EDT on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
