Peel and Eat Shrimp in Beer

1/3 pound shrimp per person
Old Bay seasoning
If the shrimp are frozen, thaw them in a bowl of cold water. Look over for any veins, etc. Put the shrimp in a large pot and sprinkle with salt and Old Bay seasoning.
Pour beer over to cover, stirring often as the beer heats up. After the beer comes to a boil, it only takes 1 or 2 minutes for the shrimp to be done. Test one if you are not sure. If cooked too long, shrimp becomes tough.
Drain the shrimp in a colander.
Serve with melted butter if hot and cocktail sauce. Good hot or cold.
