  • for the crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • for the topping:
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 bag brickle chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine the flour and sugar; cut in butter until it resembles crumbs. Press evenly into the bottom of a greased 9-by-13-inch pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
Combine the eggs, brown sugar, syrup and melted butter; mix well. Stir in vanilla, brickle chips and pecans; pour over the hot baked crust. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
