CHILI BEANS

Ingredients:
  • 11⁄2 lbs. gound beef
  • 2 15-oz. cans chili beans
  • 1 15-oz. can kidney beans
  • 2 12 or 15-oz. cans chili-seasoned diced tomatoes (or, for spicier chili, substitute 10-oz. can diced tomatoes with chilies)
  • 1 packet chili mix
  • 1 jar banana peppers, diced (optional)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (optional)
Brown and drain ground beef. Put all ingredients in large crock pot. Cook for two hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with sweet corn bread topped with cheddar cheese.
