Contributed by: Taylor Lawson
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can pizza or spaghetti sauce
  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuits
  • 2 cups shredded pizza-blend or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package pepperoni slices
  • Green peppers, onions, black olives or other toppings, optional
Prepare coals for a 12-inch Dutch oven. Spray inside of a liner pan with cooking spray.
In a different liner pan, brown the beef over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until thoroughly cooked; drain.
Press biscuits in bottom and up sides of greased Dutch oven liner to form a crust. Spoon sauce over the crust and top with beef, cheese, pepperoni and other toppings if desired.
Place lid on oven and bake with 17 coals on top and 8 coals on the bottom (350 degrees) for 35-40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Cool 15 minutes before serving.
