OVEN-BAKED FRENCH TOAST
Breads

Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 TBS sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • Cinnamon
Cut bread into 1-inch slices and arrange closely in a single layer in a greased baking sheet.
Beat eggs. Whisk in milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Pour over bread. Refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Serve wtih sliced strawberries, powdered sugar or syrup.
