Flaxseed Crackers

Ingredients:
1 cup flaxseeds
2 cups water
2 TBS pure maple syrup or raw honey
In a bowl, pour water over the flaxseeds and allow to sit until thick. Add maple syrup and stir well. Pour the mixture onto a dehydrator sheet in a thin layer. Score with a spatula to the desired shape of crackers. Dehydrate at 105 degrees. When the crackers start to curl at the edges, flip them over onto a mesh sheet and carefully peel off the dehydrator sheet. If the crackers are still sticky, turn them back over and allow to dehydrate for a couple more hours then try again. Dehydrate until crunchy.
