PETERâ€™S PUMPKIN PIE

Ingredients: 1 unbaked deep dish pastry shell 2 cups (one can) pumpkin puree 1 can sweetened condensed milk 2 eggs 1 tsp. cinnamon 1â�„2 tsp. salt 1â�„2 tsp. ginger 1â�„2 tsp. nutmeg Whipped cream as garnish (optional)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine all ingredients except pastry shell and cream in a large bowl. Mix well and pour into shell. Bake15 minutes, then reduce oven to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes more or until knife inserted one inch from edge comes out clean. Let cool before cutting.
