  • For cake
  • 11â�„2 cups cooking oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 3 cups dried apples
  • 1â�„2 cup raisins
  • For topping
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together all of the cake ingredients. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake for one hour.
Combine the topping ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook for 21�2 minutes; pour over hot cake.
