  • 2 cups cooked, mashed pumpkin or
  • 1 can (16 oz.) pumpkin
  • 3â�„4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3â�„4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1â�„4 tsp. cloves
  • 1â�„2 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1â�„2 cup whipping cream
  • 1â�„2 cup milk
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine pumpkin, sugar, spices and salt. Blend in eggs, cream and milk. Pour into pie shell and bake until knife inserted off-center comes out clean, about 40-45 minutes. Cool. May use a cake stencil to put a confectioner’s sugar design on top.
