Eggs & Cheese

  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Dash of pepper
Cook, crumble and drain sausage.
Grease a 9- by- 12-inch baking pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Tear the bread into bite-size pieces, cover bottom of pan with them and spread sausage over them. Sprinkle with cheese. Beat together the remaining ingredients; pour over sausage mixture. Bake for 40 minutes. This can be made the night before. Serves 6-8.
