  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1â�„2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 13â�„4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 36 Hershey’s Kisses, milk chocolate
  • Powdered sugar
Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Add the flour and walnuts and beat on low until well blended. Cover and refrigerate 1-2 hours until dough is firm. Remove chocolates from wrappers and set aside.
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Using about one tablespoon of dough for each cookie, shape the dough around each chocolate and roll in a ball. Be sure to cover the chocolate completely. Place cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet one inch apart and bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are set but not browned. Cool for 2-3 minutes and roll each cookie in powdered sugar. Cool completely and roll in powdered sugar a second time before serving.
